Setting up your Custom Domain with Cloudflare and Wix

To connect your custom domain to Hypeddit, you need to be able to change the nameserver settings on your domain.

Sadly, Wix does not currently allow users to change the nameserver settings for domains registered on Wix (you can read more about this here). 

But no worries! There's a workaround for this...

If your domain and website are registered with Wix, then just follow this step-by-step guide to easily connect your custom domain with Hypeddit using Cloudflare:

1. Transfer your domain to a regular registrar (such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, Domain.com, BlueHost, etc.). Doing so allows you to have full access to your nameserver and domain settings. Here's an article from Wix that can help: Transferring Your Wix Domain Away from Wix
   
   
2. From your new registrar, point your root domain to Wix so your website continues to work. Just follow the steps in this article from Wix to setup your A record and CNAME record: Connecting a Domain to Wix Using the Pointing Method
   
   
3. At the end of this setup, Wix will notify you on your Wix dashboard and via email that the connection has been completed.
